Scanner options
When the program is started you will see main window (see picture above) and system tray icon (see picture bellow).

Scanner can be invoked by clicking on the "Scanner" button (1) in the main menu.. With its help you can search and remove unwanted browser helper objects. All known to be "good" objects are already marked as safe and will not be shown anywhere.

After clicking "Scan" button (2) all unknown BHO (Browser Helper Objects) will be listed in the scanner window on the left (3). You can get more information about particular object by clicking on it. Its information will be displayed in the right window (7). If there is no information about selected object available, it is very likely a spyware and it is safe to be removed. You can select all BHOs by clicking “Select all” (4) button, or select individual ones by checking a checkbox in front of their name. “Deselect all” (5) button deselects all checked objects. Once you select all objects that you want to be removed, click “Delete selected” (6) button. You can delete objects one by one by selecting an object in the left window and clicking “Delete this Object” (8) button. If you are using one of the objects program finds, you can exclude it from future scans by selecting it (clicking on it) and pressing “Ignore this object” button (9).
If the scanner does not find any objects, it will prompt you if you want to go to the Spy Guardian section. If you check “Always select this action” checkbox, the program will always choose the action you select.

If in program’s options “Make backups of removed objects” is checked, every time object is deleted its backup is created. Every back up file is named with the current date and time. You can restore deleted object by double clicking on its back up file.

Ignored objects options
In this section of the program you can see all objects you chose to be ignored by Scanner and Spy Guardian. If you added an object to ignored list by mistake, you can remove it from here by selecting it (clicking on it with the right mouse button) and pressing “Remove ignored” button (3). You can also remove all objects at once by clicking “Remove all” button (4).
You can get more information about an object by clicking on it with the right mouse button. Available information will be displayed on the right side of program’s window.
Now you can choose to remove one, the selected, object - click "Remove ignored" (3) or all of them - click "Remove all" (4).

Blocked objects options
This section of a program (1) lists all objects (2) that were already deleted by the Scanner. When Spy Guardian is active it will remove any objects on this list without warning or back up. You can unblock an object by selecting it (clicking on it with the right mouse button) and pushing “Remove blocked” (3) button. You can also remove all objects by clicking “Remove all blocked” (4) button.
You can get more information about an object by clicking on it with the right mouse button. Available information will be displayed on the right side of program’s window (5).
Now you can choose to remove one, the selected, object - click "Remove blocked" (3) or all of them - click "Remove all blocked" (4).

Spy Guardian options
To get to Spy Guardian, click “Spy Guardian” (1) button in the main window. When active, Spy Guardian monitors your computer for spyware and ad ware found by the scanner that you deleted to prevent them from coming back. It also closes pop up ads if “Enable Popup Blocker” is checked (7).
To start Spy Guardian, click “Start” (3) button. Program’s state will be displayed on the left side of the program (2). After clicking “Start” button, program will minimize to the system tray and its icon will change color to green (see picture bellow) – Spy Guardian is active. You can recall the program by clicking on its icon with the left mouse button.
When it is active, the icon becomes in green color and program hides to the tray and can be restored by clicking on the green icon.

If unknown program tries to install on your computer, an alert will be displayed (see picture bellow).

If the publisher is well known or you want to install the object for any other reason, click “Allow and ignore” button (4). Object will be moved to Ignored Object list and the program will not alert you about it again. If you are not expecting any programs to be installed on your computer, click “Delete” button and Spy Guardian will remove this object, move it to Blocked Objects list and will automatically delete it if this object will try to install itself again. Finally, you can press “Stop Guardian” button (6) and Spy Guardian will be stopped.

To stop the Spy Guardian, recall it from the system tray and click “Stop” button.


Spyware & Adware Removal options

Make backups of removed objects
If in program’s options “Make backups of removed objects” is checked, every time object is deleted its backup is created. Every back up file is named with the current date and time. You can restore deleted object by double clicking on its back up file. Those files are located in program’s folder in “backup” subfolder.

Start with windows
If Start with windows checkbox is checked, the program will start automatically when you turn on your computer.

Start guardian immediately
If Start guardian immediately is checked, program will start in Spy Guardian mode, meaning Spy Guardian will be ON. If you also check Start with windows, the program will start in Spy Guardian mode automatically when you turn on your computer.

Start minimized to system tray
If that checkbox is checked, the program will minimize to system tray when started, you will not see program’s main window. To restore the program, click on its icon in the system tray.

Set this home page
To prevent your home page from being changed, check this checkbox and when Spy Guardian is active it will monitor your browser to make sure its homepage remains what you enter in the box bellow Set this home page checkbox.

Reset all warnings
This button resets all prompts and warnings.

Enable PopUp Blocking
If this checkbox is checked, when Spy Guardian is active, the program will also block pop up ads.
